Every once in awhile a story comes along that grabs the reader and does not let go. It so happens that this book “Playing With Lukas” is just such a book. As a former horse owner myself and a dog owner I can relate with Ms. Murdock when she states “A Horse is not suppose to do that” Lukas is just not any horse, he is a blessing not only to his owner ,but to all who are around him and all who read about him. Lukas is featured in my Beloved Horses in Second Careers, but this book gives much more detail about the early life of Karen, how she found Lukas and how she was able to turn him into a true partner.
